Key Payment Instructions:
 

• Time-of-Service Payments: Be prepared to pay co-pays and outstanding balances during check-in or check-out.

• Payment Methods: HHC clinic accept credit/debit cards, no cash, or checks accepted. HHC also use contactless, secure in-office devices for tapping cards or phone payments.

• Insurance & Billing: Bring insurance cards and ID to every visit. Note that an EOB is not a bill, but a statement of what insurance covered. Only pay the final balance shown on the actual statement from HHC providers.

• Questions & Discrepancies: If a bill seems incorrect, contact the HHC billing department immediately to review charges.

• Financial Hardship: If unable to pay in full, call the HHC office to ask for a "good faith estimate" for future services, or explore financial assistance. 

Always ask for a receipt for payments made, especially for cash, to ensure proper account updates.
